1. , I could hardly believe it when my teacher told us that we were going to travel to England in an exchange programme.
2. The dream came true a couple of months later. I had always wanted to go to England and came that day.
3. The day we arrived, we ordered a taxi to take us to the University dorms so we hadn’t needed to take the subway. In the taxi we were all so excited about our new adventure that nobody noticed that it seemed to be taking much longer than usual to get to the final destiny. My teacher asked the driver why it was taking so long and he said that this was his first day as a taxi driver and he wasn’t really sure how to get there. that we realized how far away
4. from the dorms we were . It was at least two hours away, and we were worried because we had an appointment and we had heard about how punctual the British people are.
5. Finally my teacher persuaded the taxi driver to let him drive and we arrived at the dorms.
6. We all rushed to the get off the taxi and to take our suitcases, but we figured out that the address was incorrect and the dorms were located in another part of the city. Our rush and worried were double when we discovered that issue. At that moment we made a telephone call to the main office and we tried to explain the terrible delay we had had. Eventually we arrived to the right place and finally we met our new home from the following 6 months.
