There is no “s” ending in the third person singular

Questions and negative are formed without “do” or “does”

They are followed by the infinitive form of the verb without “to” ( with the exception of “ought to”)

They have no infinitive or participle forms

Other verbs must be used with them to give complete ideas in sentences
